Jessica S. Humphries to join Board of Directors for Local Bar Association and Habitat for Humanity
Hamlet Law attorney Jessica S. Humphries has been elected to the New Hanover County Bar Association for the 2020-2021 term, which begins November 1, 2020.
Ms. Humphries also has been invited to join the Board of Directors for the Cape Fear Habitat for Humanity.
“This is a fantastic organization that provides affordable housing for our community,” said Mark Hamlet. “I have personally seen the work that they do by helping on the construction of a few houses over the years and am elated that Jessica will be providing leadership for this terrific organization.”
Ms. Humphries has been volunteering with Habitat for three years as a team leader for the Women Build event and said she is excited to serve in her new capacity as a Board Member.
Hamlet Law hopes to sponsor a Habitat home in 2021 and actively participate as a team in the construction, if COVID-19 restrictions allow.
