Hamlet Law Attorneys Selected as 2024 Legal Elite and Super Lawyers
Hamlet Law partners H. Mark Hamlet, Nicole B. Slaughter and Jessica S. Humphries have been recognized among Business North Carolina magazine’s 2024 Legal Elite in the construction law practice area.
Legal Elite honorees are identified by peer lawyers as the best practitioners in business-related fields of law. About four percent of lawyers practicing in the state were selected this year. Business North Carolina magazine has published the Legal Elite list since 2002 and is the only award that gives every active lawyer in the state the opportunity to participate.
Mr. Hamlet and Ms. Slaughter also were recognized as 2024 North Carolina Super Lawyers in the practice area of construction litigation. This is Mr. Hamlet’s fourteenth consecutive year to be named a Super Lawyer and Ms. Slaughter’s fourth. Further, Mr. Hamlet was ranked among the top 100 Super Lawyers in the state for 2024.
For the second year, attorney Sarah E. Gage has been recognized as a 2024 North Carolina Super Lawyers’ Rising Star in the practice area of construction litigation. Rising Stars all are under the age of 40 and have practiced law for 10 years or fewer.
Super Lawyers recognize the top five percent of attorneys in North Carolina, as recognized by their peers for professional achievement in various practice areas. Only 2.5 percent of the attorneys in the state are selected as Rising Stars.
